Challenge
A New Chapter
Following a merger with DMJ Recruitment in London, Briefed needed a new Brand Strategy that would effectively bring both businesses and their respective teams together. In the short-term, the new services on offer were required to be featured on a new website, with a consistent tone of voice being used across all touchpoints and comms. Longer term, they needed re-alignment that will help them to realise ambitious plans for future growth.

We carried out an intensive half-day Brand Strategy workshop with representatives from both the Briefed and DMJ Recruitment teams, re-examining everything through the new lens. This allowed us to define a revised Brand Strategy document with Purpose, Mission, Vision, Values, Market Positioning and Tone of Voice. Competitor Analysis, Customer Personas and Messaging examples were included to bring more depth to the new Brand Strategy document, allowing it to act as a practical document and one that could facilitate the onboarding of new team members.



Compliant Content
Following review of the new Brand Strategy, the document was then used to create a wider knowledge base for a custom ChatGPT channel. This allowed new website and marketing content to be generated that was consistent with Tone of Voice guidelines and with minimal curation. It also provided a useful tool for team members to use in their day-to-day comms.
Result
One Brand. One Voice.
The new Brand Strategy and custom ChatGPT channel has given Briefed the content they needed to bring the team together, as well as activate their new website. There is now common understanding among company directors, which helps the decision-making process. Onboarding for new team members can also take place in a much more consistent way, with greater understanding of various target audiences and how they should communicate with them. Going forward, the new, future-proofed Brand Strategy will now help to the team to achieve their desired growth, working towards a shared Vision and expanding into new markets.
