Indie List engaged with us to create a new brand identity and to design and develop a new website that would stand out from its competitors. The new brand identity had to be created in a unique way so that it can grow and develop with the business over the next 5 years. We created a style that was fresh, cutting edge and full of life.




Solution
Collab Together
We started with our Brandfreak workshop, carrying out a deep-dive review on where the business currently is and where Indie List wanted it to go. This helped us uncover a lot of opportunities and sidestep any potential pitfalls. Comparative analysis and a competitor landscape were presented along with Customer Personas and task analysis report to show Indie List the unique opportunities available to them.


Hired Gun
After the initial consultation was finalised, we carried out an intensive project to design and deliver as much as possible within the agreed timeline. A wider Brand Strategy, including a new logo and Tone of Voice guidelines, was quickly completed and agreed upon before we fleshed out branding guidelines and created all relevant artwork elements. We also imported these into Canva for ease-of-use so Indie List could edit and amend on an ongoing basis. The website we then built included an automated jobs board to make it even easier to advertise latest freelancer roles available.

Indie List has flourished through their forward-thinking approach and the power of the local creative freelance industry. The website we created is working hard for them and the automated jobs board has completely revolutionised the day-to-day operations of their business. As they have continued to grow, Horrible Brands has been an ongoing partner, supporting ongoing marketing activities and larger clients they have attracted by raising their profile throughout Ireland.
