Challenge
From Doodles To Dollars
Facing a digital-first world, Hand Drawn Creative recognised an exciting opportunity to evolve. Although their existing website and marketing strategy were behind the curve, these limitations offered a blank canvas for reinvention. Horrible Brands was energised by the potential of modernising their digital presence without sacrificing the hand-drawn artistry that sets them apart. The challenge wasn’t just about keeping up with the times, but elevating their unique aesthetic to a global platform, while retaining the local charm & intimate community appeal.
Solution
Revolutionising Safety
We wanted to keep the new brand looking state-of-the-art and modern so we decided to use a muted colour palette to represent this, tones and shades of silver and grey were chosen along with the futuristic typeface FS Alvar. We kept elements of the existing logo but just refreshed it to visually communicate the purpose of this new sub-brand.



Safe & Secure
The strapline ‘100% Safety, 0% Compromise, Our Future is Safer’ was developed and is included on all digital and printed materials. An icon pack was also designed to support important infographic information.
Result
Strength in Numbers
The new updated brand development helped ReGen Robotics to expand into the European market. ReGen Robotics have purchased two additional robotic cleaning systems as part of a £4 million investment, creating eight jobs. After two years marketing its business across the UK, the company has partnered with Italian firm Gerotto.
